About
The CDC was birthed after the 20 years’ insurgency of the Lord Resistance Army (LRA) civil war and cattle rustling in northern Uganda that affected Lango sub-region, Acholi sub-region and partly Teso Sub-region grossly. These caused the loss of thousands of lives of both children and adults, increased illiteracy level, high rate of school dropouts, early marriages of teenagers and majority of the population infected and affected by HIV/ AIDS.
